Laser Treatment of Vascular Skin Conditions

  • VBeam® is a type of pulsed dye laser (PDL) that is primarily used for treating skin conditions that cause redness, including rosacea, spider veins, facial veins, and angiomas. It works by delivering pulses of light energy that are absorbed by the red pigment in blood vessels and other tissues, causing them to coagulate and shrink. This process ultimately reduces the appearance of redness on the skin.

    VBeam® laser is also sometimes used for treating scars, stretch marks, and other skin conditions, as it can stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture. It is a safe and effective treatment for most skin types and can be used on the face and body.

  • The healing time after a Vbeam® laser treatment can vary depending on the individual and the specific condition being treated. In general, most people experience some redness, swelling, and mild discomfort immediately after the treatment, but this typically subsides within a few hours to a few days.

    Vbeam® laser treatment may require multiple sessions for optimal results. In most cases, we recommend 4-6 weeks between treatments to allow the skin to fully recover before the next session.

  • The cost for one VBeam® session is $300 + HST. Package pricing is also available upon reques.
